Since 1996 when he first got into the air, he has travelled all over the world, hitting nearly every continent and flying in the coolest and most exhilarating destinations. Darek is a HPAC Certified Paragliding Instructor and Transport Canada Certified Ultralight Instructor, and just recently started flying gyroplanes. Cross-Country (XC) flying is his absolute favourite thing. He is also Industry Canada ROC-A (Restricted Operator - Aeronautical) examiner .
Darek also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Ultralight Pilots Association of Canada, a delegate for The Aero Club of Canada, and a delegate for the FAI Microlight and Paramotor Commission (CIMA).
